9/23/2016 0 Comments If I Had A Million DollarsThe first thing that I would do if I had a million dollars is go to Europe. I would go to Europe because I have always wanted to and they have really good food. The architecture really inspires me. Also some of the cities really intrigue me. Venice Italy and Rome are a couple of examples of cities that are very interesting to me and I think it would be amazing to tour them.
Another thing that I would do if I had a million dollars is open my own gymnastics company. It would probably be in Iowa City or somewhere close. I would love to do this because I think sharing my love for gymnastics is a good thing to do. Another reason is because a lot of kids don't have opportunities to go to sports because they don't have a car or don't have the money. Well my program would be cheaper than normal gyms and would offer transportation so that kids would be able to do the thing that they love. The third thing I would do kind of goes with the first one. My plan is to travel to Europe but then stay there and take Culinary or art classes. I would really love to do this because I love European food and I want to open my horizons to more than just American culture. I think that it would be a really good thing for my education and my mind so that I know that there is more out there than just America.

I think the Aha Moment in Raymond's Run was when Hazel saw Raymond running with her as she was racing. I think this was the Aha Moment because after this happened, she was really proud to be his sister for once and even though she always stood up for him, she was never really thought about being his coach or anything like that. So because she realized that Raymond was actually a really good brother, she was able to connect with him in no way she ever did before. Plot: -Exposition: Raymond has special needs and Hazel (or squeaky) has a squeaky voice and has tiny arms but can defend herself and her brother. She is also the fastest thing on two feet and has won the fifty yard dash multiple times. -Rising Action: When Gretchen and her crew bumped into Hazel and there was a verbal fight. -Climax: During the race when everyone was wondering who would win. -Falling: Action When Hazel won. -Resolution: When they smiled at each other on the podium a. How do you know if something is worth effort? Give an example of a time when you worked hard for something. Why was it worth it? I know something is worth effort when I feel good about accomplishing it. One time that I worked hard for something is whenever I go to gymnastics practice. It is worth it because I feel so good about myself when I win medals at meets. b. How do you judge someone? For example, if you said "She is a confident person," how would you make that judgement? Have you ever misjudged someone? I judge someone only if I know them first, or that's what I try to do at least. Once I know their personality, then I feel like I can judge them. If you don't know them it's more of an assumption than a judgement. I have misjudged someone, especially when I make an assumption. That's why I try to get to know them first. c. Give an example of an Aha Moment you recently had. (Think of the "lightbulb" going off right above your head) How did this change your situation? My aha moment was when I figured out how to do circles on pommel horse continuously. It changed me because now I can get a higher score at competitions. |
